For local agencies

Italian travellers,
handed over properly.

Verso is a marketplace for tailor-made travel, built for the Italian market. We find the traveller, understand what they actually want, and hand it to the agency that lives there. You run the trip. We stay beside the traveller, in Italian, from the first message to the return.

What you get from us

Enquiries, not leads

Nobody reaches you through a form robot. A Verso concierge has already spoken to the traveller in Italian, worked out dates, budget, pace and who is coming, and written the brief. You answer a question that has been asked properly.

One agency per destination

We do not run three agencies against each other in the same country. Enquiries for your destination come to you, which is the only way the relationship is worth building on either side.

You stay the organiser

You design, you price, you operate, you are the organiser and seller of the package. Verso is the marketplace and the traveller's point of contact — it has no tour operator licence and does not want one.

You quote your net

You write the amount you want to receive. We add our commission on top to reach the traveller's price, and you see every line of that calculation: net, traveller's price, commission, deposit. The rate is in the contract you sign.

How an enquiry travels

  1. 01

    The traveller writes to us

In Italian, on verso.travel. A concierge calls them, and what comes back is a brief: dates, nights, who is travelling, pace, budget, what they care about and what they do not.

  2. 02

    We send you the brief

In your area, in English. Without the traveller's name, email or phone: those arrive when the trip is confirmed, and not before. It is in the contract, and it is also why the traveller trusts us with the enquiry in the first place.

  3. 03

    You accept, or you decline

With a reason, which we read. A decline costs you nothing and tells us something about what to send you next time.

  4. 04

You build the trip and quote your net

In the editor, day by day, with what is included and what is not. You send it to Verso, not to the traveller.

  5. 05

We translate, deliver and stay in the middle

The concierge reviews the proposal, puts it into Italian, and presents it. Changes come back to you through the same channel. The traveller has one phone number for the whole trip, and it is ours.

What we ask

Licence, liability cover, insolvency protection

Whatever form they take where you are, we ask for them, we read them, and we check the dates. It is the first thing we tell the traveller about you.

An answer within a day

Twenty-four working hours to accept or decline an enquiry, ninety-six for the first proposal. Declining quickly is a good answer: it lets us go elsewhere while the traveller is still warm.

Trips built for one traveller

Not a catalogue departure with the dates changed. If the honest answer is that our brief does not suit your country in that month, we would rather hear that than receive a trip that fits badly.

Your own people on the ground

We want the agency that runs the trip, not an intermediary who passes it on. If you subcontract part of a country, tell us which part.

And what we do not do

  • We do not resell your catalogue. There is no feed to send us and no inventory to sync.
  • We do not charge you to be listed, and there is nothing to pay up front.
  • We do not pass you the traveller's personal details before the trip is confirmed.
  • We do not promise volume. We are opening destination by destination, and we would rather say so than invent a number.

Where we are opening

Verso is organised in Directions rather than continents, and we open them one at a time. Verso Nord is live. The others are being built now, which is the moment at which an agency is most useful to us — and we are most useful to an agency.

Your country is not on the list? Write to us anyway. The list is where we are going, not where we will stop, and an agency we trust is a reason to move a date.

Apply

A person reads every application — there is no automatic filter and no scoring. Tell us what you run yourself and what you do not: we would rather have a short, exact answer than a long one that covers everything.

We use what you write here to assess the application and to get back to you. Nothing else.
